If you have weeds, you need one of these. Gets deep down under the roots of all but the most monstrous weeds. A bit pricey but made well, comfortable to use and does the job.

There were these three baby (white) oak tree seedlings at my city bus stop. I wanted them. I brought this scoop, which had niiice hard edges and the promise of great power and leverage -- to the bus stop, with a friend, who would have vouched for my sanity had the subject matter needed to be discussed, and while the denizens awaiting the bus stared, I promptly and swiftly thrust this scoop into the earth, safely freed the baby trees, and placed them in wet paper towels inside 3 styro coffee cups. This truly was gardening at its improvisational best.Great heft, great hand-hold, great earth-moving ability and an inherent built-in tenderness towards innocent saplings. Any other scoop would probably have broken -- the soil at the bus stop is usually trammeled daily and therefore compacted. Not a problem with the Corona CT 3264.As for the ComfortGel part -- I guess it's there-- I felt no strain on my hands from gripping the handle while excavating the tiny trees, so I guess the ComfortGel did its job well.

It pulls weeds at dig holes. It cuts through branches. Saves me from taking multiple tools around the yard.

This has become my favorite tool for weeding between plants. Good value for the money, too.

I bought this awhile ago while purchading all new slightly nicer tools for my Garden Renovation class and I couldnt of picked a better digging/transplanting/root cutting implement.A beautiful multi-tasker with a sharp edge.(Which they say is for cutting open bags but I also use for making quick work of unruly roots) It's not the awkward unitasker you that's always just wasting away in the bottom of the bag. The ergonomic, comfort gel grip has the perfect amount of give and is easy on your hands, even with hours of transplanting behind you. The aluminum alloy is strong and has held up to my rough use & accidentally bashing it against many a rock. I also love the number notches on the blade to give a little extra assistance with depth when planting your seeds & seedlings. Money well spent- a great little tool that packs a punch.

Everyone seems to have their favorite one of these tools! I like the Corona because of the one-piece wide pry bend. Plenty of purchase. The “mouth†angle is larger than others, which helps me find the center of crabgrass better. The grip is good (I’m not exactly sure what the purpose of the part that goes in front of the index finger— knuckle protection?) and comfortable without being so soft as to fall apart. The serrated edge does come in handy when the weed is so big that it’s practically fighting back. Definitely gets the roots, and without taking out too much soil. I’m rough on hand tools and this one has survived beautifully. Still looks brand new.

Lo que dice el tÃtulo. No es como otras marcas que te vas con la finta y salen desechables.
