I purchased these plates to go along with some new cabinet pulls and handles in my newly remodeled kitchen. It does the job of sprucing up the cabinets as well as protecting the paint where the hands are always touching. If you purchase these keep in mind that you are adding inches to the thickness of your cabinet and will more than likely need to replace the screws that go in the knobs and handles. That was my only problem with the install. I would recommend them they look great in my kitchen. Have a great day. God bless

I ordered this backer to go with Cosmas 4392ORB Oil Rubbed Bronze Modern Cabinet Hardware Handle Pull - 3-3/4 hole spacing. This is an unusually large handle and backer that fits my husband's very large hand. He is able to get his fingers into the handle without gouging the cabinet. This is a sturdy and attractive oil rubbed bronze set. We are very happy with these handles with backers.

These are nice, fairly heavy backing plates. 1 star deducted because the screw holes were slightly too small and had to be drilled to enlarge them.
