Your cart is empty.Made of soft latex which is harmless to all instrument finishes, this humidifier releases moisture slowly to maintain proper humidity levels to protect your instrument. Immerse the humidifier in water for 15-20 seconds and squeeze gently to remove excess water, wiping the outside of the tube with a cloth. Insert into the F hole (sound hole) of the instrument until all of the moisture-release holes are inside. It is recommended to check the humidifier daily to ensure moisture levels remain constant. It is essential to maintain a proper moisture level around your instrument if it is stored in an area prone to severe dryness and/or cold (such as a centrally heated home). The humidifier helps to prevent adverse effects such as bad string action, buzzing, cracking and warping. Easy-to-follow instructions are included and a user friendly humidity gauge is provided.

Have bought a couple of these but the last one did not have the extra/additional stopper circle attached so the humidifier fell into daughter’s cello. (She didn’t notice the circle wasn’t there). Frustrating. We got it out but had to use an older stopper. Just beware and check for missing pieces.

After inserting the humidifier inside the 'F-hole,' the rubber tube detaches easily from the holding cap and fall inside the cello. To retrieve it, you'll need to use a technique similar to the one used for removing the sound post.Returning it to seller.

Bought this for my son's cello as he has one for his violin and his cello teacher recommended he get one for his cello. Bought this and 1st time using, the black part broke off and now the green part is stuck inside his cello. Can't even return it, because it is stuck inside the cello. Absolutely useless product. Do not buy. I can't even get a refund from Amazon as they want me to return it. I can't return it. It's stuck inside the cello!
