I did not install it myself, but the installer had no problems with the installation. It is gorgeous and quiet, and very functional. The grease filters are easy to clean ... just pop them into the dishwasher and they come out sparkling and grease free.This Cosmo hood is the focal point of our kitchen remodel!

I wanted one of these hoods ever since I saw them. I love the sleek look of them! But I didn’t love the steep price tag. I’m a DIYer and like to do things as least expensive as possible. When we moved into our home the kitchen came with an over the stove microwave. I hated that thing. It was loud and noisey. And for all the sound it made, it sucked at sucking. Our fridge ended up quitting on us so we got a new one... which eventually grew into a much needed facelift to our kitchen. So I was on the hunt for what I wanted and what I was willing to pay. This was actually on my save list for some time and for way less than other brands! It arrived on time! Package came without any dents or dings. The install was easy, all the way up until the last piece of “duct†went up...first we had the problem of our duct being in the way of the top bracket, and the second problem was getting it to not gap at the ceiling...after brainstorming I came up with a solution! Magnets!!! We secured magnets to the wall, and presto our duct is up and looks great!It works perfect! And it isn’t all that loud! I put it in one and it’s fine, and does a great job at sucking up the smell, smoke, and steam! I have a dachshund that is a huge foodie, I made bacon with the fan on, she never even came to the kitchen, because she couldn’t smell the bacon! I’m happy with my purchase!

Arrived yesterday, installed today. First the positives:1.Worked great.all buttons work 3 fan speeds, with high is very powerful., 2 lights in front - both worked2. Everything came intact, well packaged.3. Instructions were okay, enough to get the job done.Negatives:1. The blue sticky covering ever possible surface was very time consuming to take off, please make this easier (less sticky) to take off.2. The bracket holding the motor housing and whole unit, should have been better designed, since installing into cabinet, we had to have bracket already attached to into before screwing it in, instead of first installing the bracket and then hanging unit on bracket making leveling very difficult. It would also really be helpful, if a template (for height and screw location and leveling guidance) was included to make it easier to install.3. The oil trap included for the motor is new for me. Not sure why the motor is going to leak oil and if so, what that means for its durability.4. I’ll try and update this in the future and include some installation pictures

After 2 weeks of use, this range hood works perfectly fine. The touch screen has middle sensibility, avoiding override functions; it's normally loud at maximum capacity (F3) and we felt the suction power is reasonable for our kitchen. It was easy to install for 1 person. The best feature is the look, it's impressive how the whole kitchen was upgraded and modern for this single item, it can match with a modern kitchen or a boho style. I fully recommend it as a value-for-money purchase.

I did alot of research and reading on the web and Amazon and decided this was the right hood vent for us and our kitchen remodel.The install was professionally done and as you can see in the picture not fully enclosed yet since we need some sheetrock repair from moving a prior outlet to have one installed to be in the enclosure. the fan is kind of loud and the lights are very bright, wish they could be dimmed, like a high and low choicethe blue protectant wrap was very difficult to remove from around the lights and the glass but we managed to get most of it off.Very good product and hope it lasts many years

It looks really nice and seems to work well but just installed it. Time is the test. It was an absolute nightmare to install and our contractor was very patient skilled. Good luck finding someone that will install it properly for you.
