The instructions said it would take 50 minutes to assemble. It took me 2.5 hours. The instructions aren't real clear in a few places so took a while to figure it out. I don't think this will hod up to moving it around much...even the directions say not to do that, but I don't plan to so that doesn't worry me. It looks nice and I think it will work fine. Got what I paid for.

Love my new sewing desk. It is pressed wood, it is pretty heavy. Tried to put together myself but being 66 I had to get help putting some parts together. It does the job I needed it to. Very happy with it.

this is a great item for small spaces and was easy to assemble (you will need two people towards the end) -it's sturdy and when expanded has great table top space for mosts projects yet if you like to sit under the work table, you won't be able to as your knees/legs will hit the storage shelf under the table - the shelf can't be modified (Ive tried) and is key to holding up the unit. can't tell you how many times I've gone to move my chair to sit under the table and have hit my knees. Wish someone had shared this in the reviews - I wouldn't have bought it for reason.

I love my new sewing table. It did come missing a piece, but the company sent the missing piece within a few days. I was very impressed by their response and speed. It’s a nice sturdy table. Totally glad I bought it.

I originally planned to buy a beautiful table for my sewing machine so I could finally take it out of the box and give it a proper home. However, after assembling it, my kids immediately fell in love with it! They were so excited that they even helped me pick a spot for it—since it’s quite large—and started decorating it with their favorite little figurines. At this point, I feel like I might lose this table to them because they seem to love it even more than I do!The assembly was incredibly simple and took me less than two hours. The instructions were very clear, and everything fit together perfectly. The table itself is sturdy and well-built, and one of my favorite features is that it folds down to a much smaller size. This makes it really practical, especially for smaller spaces. If I ever need more room, I can easily fold it away. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase—though I may have to negotiate with my kids to actually use it for sewing!

Well when two seniors attempt to put this together you can bet it took longer than 50 minutes. However it’s together and it’s wonderful. Just what I needed to hold my Luminaire XP1 (which is a heavy machine).

On Amazon it never gave the measurements for the shelf. So glad my big sewing machine fits on it. In the cupboard I put in two slide out bins. Made a board to fit in one shelf bin, I glued dowling onto it to hold my thread. Over all I’m am very pleased with this cabinet.
