In our home of real people, we use these for actual napkins, not decorations.They don’t need to be ironed (unless you have nothing else to do) since their purpose is to wipe hands and faces and they’ll be wrinkled afterwards.Yes, they’re likely made with a broadcloth like material, but they still work for most purposes. (If you have something particularly thick that you’re eating, fold it or find something a bit thicker.)I love the vibrant colors and haven’t had issues with the colors bleeding when washed.I would definitely recommend these to someone who’s looking to cut down waste in the environment, money spent on single use, or folks who just want cloth napkins (and are disinclined to go buy the material and make them).

I love the colors of these cotton napkins, and they wash up beautifully. If you snag them pretty quickly out of the dryer and fold them right away, the wrinkling is not too bad. The colors are absolutely wonderful and go with many different table settings.

Washed up beautifully. Color did not fade. Came out of dryer a bit wrinkled but smoothed out nicely without ironing. Would have been a 5 however there were four napkins that were very misshaped. Overall very satisfied for a basic everyday napkin.

They are a nice alternative to paper napkins and as I live alone I may use them more than once. They hold up well in the laundry for a few years and are a particularly nice touch if you have guests over for lunch or dinner. They would really class up and backyard bar-b-que. I ordered these originally to cut down on using so many paper towels and napkins during dinner time. I started using these and it is a good investment. I have washed these probably 30 or 40 times they don't lose their color. I have saved a lot of money and save the environment by using these instead of paper towels and napkins. I would definitely recommend these to somebody trying to do the same.

I only washed a half of the 24 Napkins I received. The fabric is decent, with a good thickness to it. The colors are vibrant.Out of 12, a large majority (80-85%) are misshapen. They are not remotely close to a square. This makes it hard to fold them neatly.These napkins are made of cotton. Please note they get wrinkled easily and need to be ironed.

These napkins are delightful colors. They were beautiful with our Fiestaware for Thanksgiving... They are cotton, so yes they shrunk a little and came out of the wash wrinkled. They are napkins, so yes after a huge dinner, they were stained. That being said, if cared for properly they should work well for you. I bought two sets so I can have plenty for daily use as well as some set aside for special dinners.1. I did iron them with spray starch for Thanksgiving and they were beautiful. Um yeah, that's not going to happen every day. :-)2. A healthy squirt of Spray and Wash removed the oily residue left from butter, etc. Shout did not even come close 3. Cold water wash, drape or hang to dry to reduce shrinking and wrinkles.Best thing is you can wash them all together and the colors don't bleed.We love them.

Just what are people complaining about,what do you expect,12 napkins for £15.00,it's a bargain.Yes they are not Irish Linen,but they are easy care machine wash.12 different colours,and as they are fine (100% Cotton) material they are great to pass through napkin rings.Yes,I am as so old that I still use napkin rings.,doing so just adds a touch of the nostalgia to your table.Not small,like some napkins on Amazon, a full 20" by 20",big enough for any dining occasion.I am quite delighted with them,and given the reasonable price,am considering ordering another set,to duplicate the colours.
