Has a raw “jute†type feeling to it, more natural, which I like. Opposed to the glossy synthetic ones that are also available. Fits my needs.

This is very nice rope/cord for craft projects. It has a natural feel and is soft. The color is excellent.

The thickness might be thicker thanadvertised. I got the 10mm but, according to my own measurements,, it was more like 12mn. If you dint care too much if it's a bit thicker than you ordered it is wonderful tope. I was ysing this for ground rope bondage ties (unsafe for suspension) & find 12mm abit too thick for my purposes. Therop is bautifil,th dyesarw rich theres no smell, & functions as advertised.

I wanted to make a jute rope basket so I found this black jute rope and I ordered it immediately. This is exactly the color that I wanted and it is so soft that I just can’t wait to use it. There is definitely a lot of quality in this rope and incredibly durable as well.The reason that I am so excited to use this exact jute rope is that it is so soft and won’t be rough on my hands. It will also be much easier to use to mold around the bowl that I am using to help my rope take form.This rope could be used for so many different purposes but I have my heart set on a homemade basket. I may make it so that I can place snacks or breads in instead of a plant basket. It would also be gorgeous to put a smaller plant inside of it so that I can make my kitchen look more beautiful and green.I could make a list that is so long of what I could do with my basket, but I think that these are my favorite 3 or 4 things to make. I cannot get over how soft this looks jute rope is. It feels like cotton. I have some thicker jute rope and it is not soft at all. It is actually very rough and a lot thicker. It is more rope than it is cotton cord. It would be great for macrame and in fact that would make an absolutely stunning piece of macrame for my wall.So many options and so little time. I have so many ideas and I want to do them all. For presents, or for our beautiful home. With 65’ and 6mm thick, I am set for a couple projects. I can’t wait to make them all.

This is a nice macrame cord. It's soft and easy to work with and works well for dying. I wouldn't recommend using it for creating potted plant hangers, but it's nice for wall decorations.

A few things make this rope an outstanding value:~It's extremely soft. This is untreated cotton, without any bleaching or smell, which is exactly what I wanted for my parrots; I constructed an aviary, and am constantly replacing and upgrading the bits and pieces. This rope is perfect for birds of just about every size- the bigger ones can play with it, and the smaller ones can climb and perch.~It's very high-quality. I ordered the 20mm rope, and it's really strong and heavy. With parrots around, it may have a shorter lifespan (and if you want it for birds, do some browsing to find out the needs of your specific species.) I'll probably knot it into chew toys for my grey, and let my conure and pionus climb on it.~Great price. For a product of this quality and quantity, $16-ish is a steal. It's a lot of very good rope for a minimal price.Takeaway: Not much to think about here. Quality, feel and price make this an easy order.Cheers,Z

Just as expected! Lost one star for the packaging - I wish it was not just in a clump but in a center-pull ball of some kind - it'll be a pain to deal with as soon as I start using it. But otherwise it should be perfect for my needs!
