Well I like it, it's useful for me, as I'm disabled and it holds everything I always have sitting in bed with me.This is gunna sound kind rude but if you're not a "pretty clean/dainty/easy on things" kind of person it may not be for you as it cannot be washed, just spot wipe.Top is hard but coated in some sort of velvety vinyl and bottom is a piece of black foam inside a loose zippered microfiber/microsuede cover thats attached to the top, either glued or stitched and glued.The zipper is just for them to insert the foam, it is not meant to come off.The foam isn't meant to be exposed.If this is ok to you then it should be useful for a long time. Like I said, I like it.

When I first opened it I was disappointed as I was expecting sturdier, however it quickly grew on me after I gave it a chance. Very handy and surprisingly study despite being very lightweight. Very versatile and I find unexpected uses for each compartment including the small "pen" holders. Definitely a good buy

Not exactly how it looks! I'm grateful for it because I just had surgery and this really comes in handy!
