These are nice and sturdy. It doesn’t list the material it’s add of but I filed this one down in the picture and it looks like copper, though I’m not sure what the plating is. It is harder and darker than silver. But that is okay. It goes perfectly well with any antique silver spacer beads , and isn’t horribly/noticeably different when paired with real silver. I love how sturdy these are as they can definitely hold some weight and there’s no worry that it will bend out of the shape you leave it in. It just may be hard to work with for some. If you don’t have a decent pair of round nose pliers, this may be too hard for you. My pliers are really well made and it’s still hard to bend them, but I find that to be a good thing for me. Take it as you will. Also, it takes a good amount of scratching to get the copper to show through the plating.

This is probably not the best deal for cheap flathead jewelry-making pins. However, I ordered these when my state was in lockdown for coronavirus, and I was willing to pay an extra couple of bucks to not have to wait until things opened again. I bought these mostly for making little bead charms for my bracelets, but they also did the job when I needed to replace a missing hinge pin on my new incense burner, so that's nice. They're not quite as sturdy as some of the pins I've seen, but that probably also made them easier to bend and cut, and they seem to be holding up okay so far, so I'm happy.
Horrible!!!

(My camera isn't the greatest) but I was worried they were going to be bent, like I saw other comments. For most part, looks like 99% of them are straight. So I look forward to using them to make earrings :)

These work well for making earrings. The pins are not flimsy and do not bend; hold up to glass beads with a little weight.

I try to find the straightest one when making earrings. Most are bent too much.

The head of the head pin is a little small but the length is good for what i'm doing. if the hole of your beed is small than I recommend them. the gage is also good for small holed beads.
