Great external material, and the blanket on the inside is very soft. It’s not too heavy and makes for comfortable sleeping temperature. It fits great over the common size cot utilized at daycares. The pillow is easy to remove, and makes for easy washing. It folds easy and makes it simple to tote and store in a cubby. My child is 47†tall and weighs about 40 lbs and it’s a perfect fit for her size.

Loved this sleeping mat. It’s really comfy for my 1 year old for nursery. Down part is it doesn’t have straps but we added them and folds into a rectangle instead of a round circle sort of thing. But whatever least of the concerns. It’s really pretty and I enjoy it for my child and she does too.

Blanket is very soft and held up well being washed.. for a very short time. Bought this 3 months ago and the stitching is already coming apart. also the pillow isn’t very comfortable and I wish is had a place to write my child’s name

This pink-flowered nap mat looks even better in person. It has a good amount of padding - enough to make sleeping on the floor more comfortable without making the mat so heavy and big that little ones would have difficulty carrying it. The underside of the top cover is made of soft minky pink fabric to make it cozy. There is a built-in pocket for the included pillow. It is not long so I suggest checking with the child’s measurements to be sure it will fit. It rolls up easily and fastens that way with Velcro. There is a fabric handle to carry it with. I also like that it has a luggage tag type pocket to put a label with the child’s name. That way I don’t have to use sharpie to write the name on the mat itself (just in case it is handed down to a younger sibling). Overall, I like this mat and would order again.UPDATE: After ordering this nap mat, I ordered two others from different companies for my grandsons. Upon comparing them, this one has more padding, a bigger covering blanket, more length, and a bigger, fluffier pillow. The other pillows were very small. So I like this mat even more now.

I actually ordered this for myself because I wanted a little more padding on my bed, but I didn't want to put a whole permanent pad under the sheets. I'm short (5'2"), so this is perfect when I curl up. The floral fabric is like somewhat soft sheets, while the inner attached pink blanket part is extremely soft, cozy, and warm. The listing says the pad is 2 inches and that seems about accurate. It comes vacuum wrapped and gets a bit squished, so you have to let it fluff back into shape. The small pillow fits well into the built-in pillowcase, and it's very easy to roll up the bed and close it with the attached velcro closures. A child would have no problem being able to do it. I appreciate that it is machine wash and dry, too. There's even a little plastic window sewn on to put a child's name card in, so it doesn't get misplaced at slumber parties. I love this little bed and recommend it for girls and even adults like me, who want a portable bedding set for home or in the car.
