This mattress pad has a very nice looking, soft 100% cotton top. The fiber filling is polyester and the poly bottom surface does not slip on the mattress. With the top being cotton, we do not see any static build up/discharging when we strip the bed of the sheets. Our previous pad with a microfiber top was from the 'bullseye' box store. It would build up crazy static and shock the heck out of you when you removed the sheets! This is why we sought out a cotton top pad and glad we found this one.We have a queen euro top plush mattress, and this pad provides some modest added padding to the sleeping surface. I did not not noticed any strong smell from the fabric out of the box, and it laundered fine. The skirt fits fine over regular deep mattress corners, ours is 13" deep.There are some reviewers that said it was not cotton and the tag said all poly. This is a false narrative. There are two tags and one clearly states that the top is 100% cotton. The filling is fluffy polyester.Do note that because the top is 100% cotton, and even if you wash cool and dry low, it will shrink some. The one we got shrank a few inches all around. The mattress area not covered after shrinking is not a practical sleeping area so close to the edge, but they could improve the item by making it oversized to account for this shrinking. Overall we liked the quality of the material and the look and feel. So we contacted the seller about the shrinking. They were quick to respond and provided a discount to our purchase. If you can live with a bit of shrinking, this is a quality cotton top mattress pad at an affordable price.

I've ordered many bed covers/pads over the years and this one finally checks all the boxes. It's well padded without being like a topper. It's soft and fits my thinner memory foam mattress perfectly, though it will stretch to accommodate thicker mattresses too. Came vacuum sealed but puffed up well. Washed and dried good too. Recommend!

This fit perfectly on my queen sized bed.It is soft and thick. I noticed a difference sleeping on it.I feel secure that it will protect my mattress.I believe in taking care of my belongings.Kudos to a well made Mattress Pad, Mattress cover.

The mattress pad is good quality and fits the mattress. I washed it before putting it on the mattress and worried that it might shrink, but it didn't. It's tight but the stretchy fabric that goes under the corners is long enough and stretchy enough to make it fit well.

There were several reviews saying the backing on this mattress pad "melted" in the dryer. I trusted my gut and bought it anyway. This is a very nice, cotton, soft, well fitting mattress pad. There was no odor when I opened it. I washed in warm water and dried it on low heat (no fabric softener). It came out soft and fluffy. The fit on my twin bed is perfect. It's a great deal on a good product.

I really needed a new mattress pad, upon opening and putting the CozyLux Mattress Pad on the bed, right there near the middle is a 6 inch rip in the fabric. extremely disappointed. No way can this old gal fold this up and put it in a shipping box, so hope it the rip will not get larger as I have to deal with it!UPDATED: It does fit the 12" mattress well and the fabric feels nice except for the ripped area.The manufacturer was responsive.
