  • Based on paraffin wax.
  • Best dissolved at the temperature 185°F.
  • For 1 lb. of wax you need about 0.02-0.06 oz.Of our dye flakes to get a pure color.

We recommend making a test sample of coloured wax to be sure you're getting the colour you desire. To check the colour that the wax will be when it is set, pour a small amount onto a white piece of paper. It will set quickly and give you an idea of what the candle will look like once set. If you desire a darker colour then simply add more flakes.

Depending on the type of wax, the colors may finish differently. Paraffin and beeswax may exhibit the most bright, vivid colors while soy wax and other vegetable waxes may have a more subdued color.

Please be cautious with dosages of dye and scent while making your candles. Excessive dosages might have an influence on the burning effectiveness, causing smoke and reducing the ability of your candles to stay lit.

So we had gotten a DIY candle kit with the small tins, but we needed some essential oils and dye to take it a step further. These are amazing and super easy to use thus far! We used bright yellow, bright pink, dark blue, sapphire and all of them were super pigmented. Now these are tiny tins though, so for a more big candle I can't say just yet. We didnt have to mess with the chips, just threw them in as is and it melted away into a vibrant color.The huge plus with this purchase were the essential oils. These can get pretty expensive, especially on Amazon. They smell sooo good! Lavender didnt really smell like the lavender I know, but regardless it is lovely. Now to see if it helps you fall asleep haha.Thank you seller for such a great deal!

The CozYours Candle Wax Dye color are vibrant and varied. They melt and mix easily with soy wax. The fragrances, too, are delicious. Unfortunately, the kit can be a bit messy. The wax comes in baggies and there are so many, The fragrance containers don't have spouts for pouring--I had to use old ones from essential oils from another company to avoid over-pouring. In addition, the color mixing guide has color listed that may or may not be in your bag of waxes.

I like all of the different colors for candles and the fragrances are great. Also I really enjoyed readying the e-book. It has been very helpful to me. I have learned alot about making a perfect candle.These candles are 2 of my favorites. I'm having a lot of fun now that I know what I'm doing thanks to Cozyours!! :)

It doesn't look like you get much because the bags are small, but don't let that fool you! The colors are strong and they melt well. I am brand new to candle making so I appreciate how easy these are to use. I took a star because the color chart included with these wax dyes is a hot mess. The formulations do not produce the expected colors. Then again, that could be due to not receiving the colors on the chart. I only got a couple of the colors needed to follow the chart precisely - and I don't know how to acquire those particular colors. However, the e-books you get are fantastic! At around 117 pages, the candle e-book is incredibly thorough and handles just about every question one can think of. The information is broken down into easy-to-find chapters. I have already referred to this in valuable resource several times.I recommend these wax melts to anyone. Great stuff!

Very beautiful colors, you don't need alot to make your colors pop. Mixing the colors is easy and it comes with a nice chart for that. Only thing I have to say is to make sure you're continuously stiring while you add or there will be little specs.

Bottles are all leaking 2out of 4 are already empty upon arrival,the color chips look like excellent colors I hope they work well.Just dissapointing that the oils were a waste thankfully I also ordered oil from another brand and it was a big bottle that didn’t leak so it’s not too big of a deal but would of sucked if I was waiting for it because of oils .What a mess.But the color chips look very amazing

You can adjust the amount to brighten your wax. There’s a mixing chart that is accurate. Good product
