Purchased this tambourine for church use, but didn’t actually use it until a month later due to traveling. I used it each Sunday in December, when 3 weeks in I noticed that several of the nails which secure the face had dislodged. This is following only a month’s usage. Following amazon’s instructions, I contacted the company via email and advise them of what occurred. About 30 days passed and I received no response. As such I contacted them a second time because another set of nails dislodged from the face of the tambourine. As of this date I still haven’t received a response from the company. Poor customer service and product quality.

For the price, you're getting as good a product as can be expected, and for casual use or, as in my case, clinical use (I'm a board certified music therapist who works with hospice patients and their families), it's fantastic. It's not a concert tambourine, and as such it's not terribly durable, particularly the thin goat skin (?) head. One good fortississimo with your fist and you lose any tone the head originally had. It's great for kids and for light use, though, and it produces a pleasing, though very thin, tone. If you're looking for a discount Grover or Black Swamp, though, keep looking.

I just received this tambourine and it is well used with the edges frying already. It’s dirty and very well worn.. Needless to say it’s going back.

I knew this was gonna be a good buy so I ordered two because I go through these things quite often.They are a lot better than the imported ones I used to buy.Hopefully these will last longer.But the price was right!They sound good too.I am pleased.respect
