This pump is useful to push more water at a greater pressure. I needed to put a sprinkler on my roof to scare off raccoons. But at 15 ft above my water spigot my roof sprinkler was spraying at half the distance. This pump brought it to full volume.This pump comes with only 8 inches of wire and no plug most likely so you don’t drop it down a well.The inlet & outlet pipes fit 1" internal diameter threaded pipes/hoses. To connect it to a 3/4" garden hose you'll need a 1" male x 3/4" male hex nipple threaded reducer pipe adapter and a 1" male x 3/4" female thread reducer pipe adapter for the inlet & outlet pipes.When you start the pump (turn your hose on first to fill the pump) it will emit a high-pitched, almost metal scraping sound. This is just high pressure water bubbles being evacuated and should disappear within 10-15 seconds.Their toll free number from their Amazon store site is disconnected as of December 9th 2024 nor do they respond to emails.
