Works very well. Includes a depth stop for the copper which other manufacturers do not. Light weight but constructed of quality materials, and it produces an excellent flare.

I use this flaring tool for mini split lines and it delivers consistent, leak free results every time. I was using a coworkers black max and liked it so much i had to have my own. It is worth every penny!

The CPS Blackmax flaring tool worked flawlessly for flaring the copper tubing on a mini split installation. The clutch mechanism is pretty much goof proof for the perfect flare. Highly recommended tool.

I did make a mistake though. The work was in an area I couldn't see so well. I did not line it up properly. It was a little off and I did the flare. It make an imperfection in the tool. I didn't want to risk it so I just bought another one.
