Your cart is empty.The CR2550 series Remote Current Indicators are a low cost method for providing a visual indication of electrical current flow. The indicators are factory calibrated to provide a preset turn-on point. The value of the turn-on point is determined by the customer and specified in the part number. Attached to the transformer is a high efficiency, bi-polar LED that illuminates when the current is above the turn-on point. The indicator is available as standard with 11 inch long leads and a red LED indicator. designed as a low cost method for providing a visual indication of electrical current flow. The current-carrying wire is routed through the window opening in the current sensing transformer. Specifications- Turn-on Point: 0.75 AAC RMS. Using it to monitor a sump pump. It turns on when the pump is running. Also using one to monitor battery charger shore power switch for my boat. Inexpensive method for being sure essential items are working.

Installed this on the power leads to the heater element on my hot tub. Bright light indicator allows me to see if the spa temperature is at setpoint without opening the spa cover. Easy install.Affordable.

Absolutely worked great! It allows me to know if a heat circuit for my water container, in a chicken pen, is actually working! I can see it easily from the house, pen is 100 ft away. Hasn’t missed yet!

There are no instructions of any kind with this so you need to know how to use it. It looks like you just slip it over the whole cable but it will not work that way. You have to separate the wired and just put it around 1 wire, usually the hot lead. It also comes with something to mount the light to a box, I presume. It's a lens and a couple of other pieces. I never could figure out how to make that work.

I used this product to determine whether current is actually flowing through my roof heating cables. The coil easy went over the #14 AWG black wire in the electrical box, without taking up much room. I mounted the press-in lens by pushing it, up to the hilt, through a 0.25" hole in the side of a Wiremold NMW35, from the outside. The LED then locked everything in place when it was pushed into the lens from the inside of the box.A good low cost solution to my problem.
