I used connecting for the Ring doorbell. It was very easy to install. It has great sound..It's very plain and neat looking. That's what I liked about it. Very reasonably priced.

I replaced a wall box chime that looked like it was from the 70s with this. My electrician installed it so I don’t know if he swapped out the transformer but it was very quick and he didn’t need to redo any of the original wiring or touch my existing doorbell outside. Pretty much plug and play from that standpoint.
