Living in Minnesota and walking every day, I've use these for almost three seasons 3/22 - 1/25. Previously, I'd used the popular brand and had to replace them at least every season. For these, one front chain finally broke a couple weeks ago - I'll still keep using them but decided to order a spare set. The price I paid in 2022 was much better than Y**T**x, work better and last much longer. The current price is even lower! I can't recommend these enough!!I'd actually ordered a set last week and guessed the wrong size (there wasn't a size chart on AZN and it's *way* difficult to find on my set). The Large size is coming tomorrow for my size 11 boots. I've included the size chart that came with the ones I'm returning.

Bought these for glacier and ice hiking in Iceland and they were amazing! While others slipped and slide all over the place, we walked past without a care in the world. Very high quality and felt safe and supported using these in extreme weather. Packaging was very professional and lots of great information on warranty and support were included so this company clearly takes customer service seriously.

I bought these for my 85 year old father after trying 2 other styles. these are great he feeds his animals with them on his Muck boots to walk thru snow and ice. He has had them for two weeks and has told me 4 times now how great they are. And I don't have to worry about him slipping.

Get ready to walk or even run on ice with no fear. It's a frozen mess out there now and will be for a while here in New England. My old spikes wore down after 10 years. I just got a second pair to fit over hiking shoes in size small and I got the medium for my boots. I used a small zip tie to tighten up a few of the links on the medium size for a snug fit on my boots. Do not wear these indoors or you can damage floors or slip. The chains can hook on gas/brake pedal so make sure you don't drive with them on. Have a dedicated pair of shoes and boots for the season to avoid taking them off and on.

These are made very well. They fit my wife's boots very well. Traction on packed snow is excellent.

Last year I fell several times with another style and brand. Fortunately I only bruised my ego and didn't get seriously hurt. Im in the high mountains with lots of snow and ice. I definitely feel more secure wearing these. I highly recommend to everyone I can.Excellent price and quality. So far I have 2 pairs and will be buying more to have in the future. (spare pairs)

I'll start by listing its flaws, if you're an in-between size and cant work out which you need, buy small, my first pair were slightly too large and slipped on my shoes; not enough to cause an accident but enough to make for some interesting moments on steep slopes, plus even with the right size the back can be the tiniest bit loose in side to side movement so be careful walking across slopes. That said...For the price I was expecting something much lower quality, what I got was a pair of great, quick to put on shoe spikes, I used these on a recent trip to the lake district where I found they're ideal for steep slopes of wet grass or loose dirt, they provided that extra bit of traction and rigidity that had me climbing easier in a pair of approach shoes than my friends in a pair of B2 climbing boots; plus so long as you buy the right size they're good on rocks too.In short if you're going to be sliding about in regular boots but the conditions aren't right for a full pair of crampons these will do the job and maybe save you from getting too personal with the local dirt.Plus I have no idea what that Velcro strap is for, its far too short to go round ankles, over the shoe or anywhere it would be useful for securing the crampon, answers on the back of a postcard.
