I bought these for two reasons:1. Brand name2. PriceHowever after trying these out, I was stunned at how bright and vivid the water colors were. We handed these out as part of an arts and crafts project for 4-5 year olds so I needed something cheap, but acceptible for most kids and parents. The brush is pretty small, but the paints were activated with minimal water, yet produced absolutely vivid colors. I had another paint set sitting around with different colors so we tried those too, and noticed that you needed way more water, and could never get bright colors out of it. Everything was way too watered down!I wasn't going to write a review, but I think everyone needs to know these are distinctly higher quality water colors than most sets you will find.

These are highly recommended by elementary school teachers due to the quality of the product. The colors are vibrant and stay vibrant on the paper.

Read the reviews. I read but chose to ignore. Description says you get 2 for a total of 16 color ovals. You actually get 1 with 8 ovals. Sending back for refund!

So I purchased these for my children. I'm no artist and I really don't know the advantages of semi-moist watercolors, but I can say that these seem to have richer color than dry version I've purchased previously, and is slighlty thicker in consistency. My only complaint is that when I first opened the paint the colors had speckles of the darker colors in them , so the item looked a little beat up, but this really wasn't a big deal.

Las estoy usando ahora mismo para mi sketchbook y mis dibujos rapidos, es una paleta limitada pero no le veo mayores problemas. La caja me vino rota, pero traslade los colores (que es lo mas importante) en otra caja que tenia.
