Please know that when you recognize this item it will be very hard. You need knead it so that way it comes back to its elastic self. I purchased this to use as masking putty and works wonderfully. I have a pictures showing coverage and another one showing no left over residue. If you need a cheap alternative for masking putty I 100 percent recommend this one.

Got these for stocking stuffers this year. It’s been a good number of years since I got silly putty at the dollar store and it felt like it was time. My kids are now 16, 13, 10 and 7. The middle 2 boys play with it the most. We have all kinds of sensory mediums like various sands and other putties and doughs. The OG silly putty is still one of the best and most satisfying to play with. This was a decent value and delivered stress-free for me to pop in stockings this year. As good as it’s always been and well received by my kiddos. Just be very careful not to get it on any fabric or silicone!!! Fabric is probably expected, but some of my kids are very prone to stick putty onto hard surfaces and peel it back off, only it basically BONDS to silicone and is almost impossible to get off. You have been warned. Otherwise, have fun!

It was a little hard at first but after kneading it a bit it softened right up. It was a fun reminder of childhood and the grandchildren loved playing with it. It was a perfect stocking stuffer!

This silly putty can entertain my kids for hours. Even as an adult I enjoy playing with it. We get it out only when we go to church once a week so it is still as exciting as the first time for them.Not all silly putties are made the same. The clear stuff is garbage and has already stained my carpet, my artificial turf, and the inside of my travel bag. Original or bust!

Bounces and stretches but doesn’t do what the original silly putty would do like press on comics and stretch them out which is half the fun

Like a lot of others, the putty came extremely hard.I flattened the putty out and ran it under very hot water for a while. Most of the water ran off, but the putty was softer and and was a little damp. After kneading it seemed to stay soft and it feels great now.

I was looking for something that I could apply over the electrical connector for my RV for winter storage to keep it from getting rusty in our wet weather where I live.Unfortunately, Silly Putty is not actually sticky, or at least not sticky enough to adhere to the plug for more than a day. It kept falling off, so I abandoned the idea.Silly Putty does not advertise itself for this purpose anyway, so I gave it a 'neutral' score.
