I purchased the black Crayola Washable Paint for a craft project, and I'm very pleased with the results. One of my kids had a daily paint with black paint phase. This was the perfect purchase for the phase. Great value! We still have plenty of black paint after the phase ended.

We used for a photoshoot and it splattered all over our ceiling (by accident), however, it all came off by scrubbing it with Dawn and water.

I am almost 65 and like most Americans, I grew up with Crayola. When I saw they had a washable poster paint, I was pleased. Well, today I used it. In the attached picture, you can see the label and it says Black paint. The results does not look black, but a dark Olive Green. Also, the coverage is very poor. I'll grant that I used a cheap brush, but I used a brush from the same pack last month with another brand of Acrylic paint and it gave a great smooth coverage on the same cardboard. I shook the bottle well after the first sample came out looking like that, but shaking it didn't help. Fortunately, for my purpose, I can use it, but if this was an art project, no way.

I lead an Art and Mindfulness therapy group and go through bottles and bottles of this paint. It is great and works well with many different surfaces.

Held its deepness even when mixed with other colors. Was not difficult to rinse clear. Used it for a moulage production and it was quite convincing.

While yes, it does wash off quite easily, it goes on a dark grey and then dries a dirty gross brown grayish. Looking elsewhere for a better quality paint.

I used this to paint my horses legs for a fancy dress competition. It was easy and quick to apply, stayed on despite the heat and washed off easily. We won the competition!
