These are not washable and have stained a number of our students clothing as well our other classroom materials. I would not recommend these paints.

I teach MS art. I have bought these for over 15 years for my students. They are the best for class use. Every student has to have their own set in my class. These store great in an 8 drawer rolling shelf, one drawer for each period. I put their name/per on top in thick black sharpie. If treated appropriately, they will last the entire year and longer. I have to teach my students not to wash them out, its okay to have dirty trays.

I've been teaching middle school art for over 20 years. This is the best set (for the price) that I have found for my students. I require them to have their own set because sharing never works. It will last the whole school year and longer. The colors are bright and true. The brush is pretty decent. I just wish it didn't come with the extra color sets, I'd prefer more complete sets.
