March 10- My husband and I really enjoy using these glasses. Today I made a bad mistake and filled my glass with ice cubes, added some creamer, and then poured hot coffee on top of the ice. I realized what I had done just a moment after I finished pouring in the coffee. I was thinking, "Oh boy, this is going to shatter and make a mess, and I'll probably get hurt from the glass." Well, I hesitated for a moment, trying to decide what to do. I quickly decided that stirring everything together to make everything one temperature was probably my best bet. Well, Hallelujah, nothing happened. Then I remembered that these glasses are made from tempered safety glass. I wasn't sure what that meant when I first read that, so I looked it up online, back when I first received them. That means the glass went through a special process that makes it resistant to shattering due to temperature changes. If it does shatter, the glass breaks into smooth pieces. Now I am NOT recommending to do something like I did, because I have had tempered glass dishes shatter before. It's definitely not foolproof, and you can still get burned by hot glass, food, or liquid. But my glass did not shatter, which makes me feel even better about using these.February 21- I wasn't sure if these glasses would hold up. The cheap ones I've been buying needed to be replaced, and it was time to get a matching set. These glasses seem like they'll last a very long time. They might even survive if dropped on my floor. They're made of thick glass and the design reminds me of bygone days. I really like the light color, too. They can be washed in the dishwasher. They're the perfect size for any drink. They feel nice in my hand, and are pleasant to drink from.

I'd buy more if had the space! They're exactly what I wanted! Top quality glasses at an affordable price. Beautiful color that goes well with my dishes! I've washed them several times and they come out like new! Easy to clean by hand as well.
