This was cute and fun until my kids (4, 7) looked through the kaleidoscope. It doesn’t have a real seal, so they kept accidentally opening their creations, spilling soapy liquid. I tried gluing them to create a seal, but that didn’t work, either.

Poorly Assembled Reflecting Tube - internal mirrors became dislodged so the kaleidoscope did not function. I had to force the ends off to try and fix it …. This was a replacement for one that came broken …

I bought this kit for my 12 year old nieces birthday. She loved putting this together and then using it, her siblings all agree, it's good fun and fascinating to them all. She said it was one of her favorite things from her birthday and it was fun to build it so there's your review!

Received as a gift- easy to put together and great in theory, but the cap comes off extremely easy, spilling sticky gel and glitter all over the place.
