I purchased the Cricut portable trimmer a while back to use for various projects for my small business. I don't cut enough to justify a large paper sliver, but I use this fairly frequently. I learned very quick that if you do a lot of cutting, the blades wear out! These replacement blades have been a life saver! The blades are super sharp out of the package, not need to test them!! Very easy to replace - simply pull the little handle/knob upward to dislodge old blade and replace. These Cricut brand replacement blades are sturdy and sharp. I use them to cut regular printed paper, cardstock paper and photo paper. These have extended the life of my trimmer greatly. Can even be stored in a cute little compartment under the trimmer so you don't lose them.

This is a must have for the Cricut trimmer. I bought the Cricut trimmer and found it an excellent tool I couldn’t do without. However, I didn’t realize how quickly the blade becomes dull when cutting paper and vinyl. There is no way to sharpen the little blade ( tin foil only cleans, not sharpens) and once the blade is dull it pretty much mangles anything I tried to cut and I ended up using scissors instead, making the trimmer useless.Thankfully they made the blade replaceable and sell these, or else the trimmer would not be worth buying at all.

There are hundreds of different paper cutters on the market and both versions, the slicer unit, and the guillotine types both have their place in the craft room. Tim Holtz guillotine is my favorite for that type and the portable Cricut trimmer is my choice for a slicer model. Having a ruler going down the length of the trimmer let's me lift up, set my blade at any point, then close and cut partial cuts on a page. This is so important when making many fun fold cards. The price is amazing and it's easy to get replacement blades for future products. The price truly is opposite of it's value, and makes so many card folds possible. The replacement blades are always sharp and convenient. I try to make all my spare blades accessible when needed.

This cutter is so easy to use. I order blades often as i cut LOTS of paper with my cutter. The blades are very sharp. The scoring blade is very cool! To change the blade is easy, and the blades are store under the platform of the cutter. Very easy to use. The only thing it doesn’t have is 45 degree lines.
