This useful tool features a four inch (102 millimeter) scale on each side for quick and convenient calibrating. Made of high impact resistant plastic for durability. An inexpensive way to measure insulating glass units or any other object where thickness dimensions are required.

My father in law owns a window business and uses this quite frequently. He loves it, and wonders how he managed to live without it. It is large enough to measure glass thickness without removing any trim.

Specialty item for glaziers (glass guys). Measures the thickness of insulated window glass so you can order the right size (very important). They had this one for a nice price and delivered it quick.

The CRL Insulating Glass Caliper is a very useful tool in the glass business. This is my second one. It weights next to nothing but is strong enough to resist any damage when falling from a second story window on to concrete. If there is a down side to the tool, it is a little too flexible and that can affect the reading accuracy, if either arm is under pressure. Not a great value price wise, but it is a tool I have to have and it never has let me down.

I do service calls for broken windows and at times this is really handy. It prevents me from having to remove window strips to try to get the size of the glass.

Great for measuring replacement glass units on windows and doors. Too bad it wont work on a picture window. Would buy again.

Item does what it says it will do. You can adjust the opening with a screw that is in one of the jaws. Mine came needing to move the screw out a little to get an accurate reading. The other jaw is a blunt plastic tip.My only complaint is the price...It is made from plastic with a metal key ring installed in the end of the handle.

Made of plastic that bends with little pressure. I've had this for over a year and refuse to use it for it's intended purpose (measuring glass thickness on windows). It's now a paper weight.
