This is a good piece of gear. The Santa Ana winds in SCal can do a scary amount of damage and make hats disappear. This little piece of kit has saved my uniform cap from going "over the rainbow" about 5 times today alone.

I really like the shape of the clip jaws with interlocking teeth and the strength of the spring. I use this in my convertible to secure my hat, and have confidence that if it does blow off that I won't have to turn around on the highway to get it. Price seems rather high for what it is, but if it works then all is good.
