This is a great size for a skein or two of yarn and some knitting or crochet tools. It's portable and keeps the yarn clean. I confess I do not run the yarn through the eyelet bc if I ever wanted to change bags, I'd have to either finish the project or cut the yarn. Even without using the eyelets, it is a good way to keep my yarn contained and clean. (we have lots of dog fur at home)

I was looking for a smaller project bag that would be easier to take on the go but still had enough room to carry what I needed. It will probably be too small for some projects using blanket yarn unless I’m carrying around partial balls but it fit a couple balls of thinner yarn without much trouble. The exterior pocket is big enough for my hooks and notions and there are two smaller interior pockets as well.

This a nice sized yarn bag and holds eight of the 50 gram balls of yarn like Kroy socks yarn. Depending on the size and style of winding your mileage may vary. The inside of the bag is simple, no pockets or other obstructions, just a nice open space for balls of yarn. The outside contains a pocket that spans the entire length of the bag, nice and big so it holds your knitting needles, crochet hooks, scissors, stitch markers and other things you might need. The boxy shape of this bag makes it easy to stack and it sits nicely on a shelf. As a project bag this would be great to keep a medium sized project or even a lacy fingering weight shawl would fit inside. I am using it to store the yarn for the next four pair of socks I plan to knit as I think it works well to store yarn and might be a bit large to use as a project bag. If you have a group that you crochet or knit with this might be a perfect sized bag to bring your project along with your hooks, needles and other supplies you bring to your group.

The bag will easily hold 2-3 skeins of yarn. The holes in the sides of the bag allow yarn to be fed through them. I sometimes needed to tug a bit to get more yarn out, but I was using a cone of yarn not skein or ball. Those would probably feed through easier. My only criticism of the bag is that the inside pockets are made of plastic so the long lasting durability of them is questionable. I will need to be careful not to rip them. Overall I am happy with the bag. It will be very useful when traveling.

I love the holes that I can put the yarn through. There is an outer zipper pouch for hooks and inner pockets as well. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

This pouch is about the size of a man’s travel toiletries bag. It easily holds my four skeins of cotton yarn, I like the material quality, the outside zipper and the inside pocket. The grommet holes on top are what sets this apart from other ways to hold your yarn when working your project.

I purchase this item as a gift to my daughter who loves cross stitching. This is a great bag for all her supplies and yet so light weight.
