Perfect for toddlers 2+ (with supervision) and is quite sturdy. These are true floor puzzles and require a lot of space to put together - around 4' + for work and finished puzzle space, which is approximately 2'x3' most of the time. They are slick, so if sticky happens you could probably give the pieces a quick wipe down with a damp (not wet!) cloth. Excellent image quality and great learning tool for spacial analysis and problem solving. The ONLY downside is the price of the puzzle. Melissa and Doug offers the same size and quality for nearly half the price of these puzzles. Love this brand and plan to buy more of them for my little one. Just wish they were less cost prohibitive.

My 2 (almost 3) year old son loves this puzzle! His sister picked it out for him for Christmas and he loves putting it together. The pieces are a great size for little hands and he loves looking at the different animals. One issues is that the front cover has print over the picture so it was a little hard for him to compare the pieces to the front of the box. Other than that, it is a great puzzle.

Initially left a 5 star review. Love the large pieces and they fit together well and appear sturdy. This puzzle has been a huge hit and had gotten daily use since we opened it.Had to drop the review to a 4 star though because after several weeks of consistent use (and enjoyment), I’ve had to tape/glue at least half a dozen pieces back together as the picture rips off the cardboard or the protruding connecting piece bends and becomes unstable.We still love doing the puzzle, just wish the pieces were a little more durable.

Love the quality of the puzzle. The art work is unique and I really like the scene and the variety of animals, insects, birds, reptiles, etc.Shipping times are fairly accurate. Ordered November 28, received January 28.
