I did not buy these to play croquet although I do think they would be excellent. I was looking for something that would hold my long rain gutter in place in our windy back yard. They work perfectly for that! The wickets are heavy duty and do not bend when pushing them into the ground. The red color at the tops would probably be helpful for croquet players because you could see them better in the grass.

I found these wickets to very sturdy and are great to play with in the yard! Since they are thicker than most other wickets that I have had in the past, they are easy to see in the yard. Would definitely recommend.
