The product is very straightforward. I needed to replace the ink in my pen and this worked well. It fits a variety of pen brands such as Cross or Tiffany. The ink was fresh and not dried out, the tube itself is sturdy and doesn’t bend, the design is simple and I’d use this again when I need a new refills for my pens. I have 2 pens, so the 2 refills were just what I needed. I bought black but there are a small variety of colors. I’d recommend this product especially if you can’t use gel pens because I can’t, as I press down very hard when I write. Smooth refills.

I like fountain pens. I find them to be fun, and while I'm not obsessed with them, if I find a nice one for a song, I'll clean it up and give it a good home. I recently came across a vintage Cross fountain pen in just such an event, but I had no ink cartridges for it, and I'd always wanted to try bottled ink -- so I decided to get Cross ink adapter, hoping it'd fit. It did! (In case it helps anyone, my pen is a Century Classic model, and almost certainly made during the 1980s.)The converter is easy enough to dip-and-fill with ink once installed, but I do find that there's always an unfilled space larger than what I'd expect. I'll keep working on that and maybe if I figure out any tips, I'll update -- no promises though; reviewers tend to suck at making good on promised future updates, and I'm no exception. Otherwise, it works like an ink cartridge and it makes me happy to be able to use bottled ink for a change. :-)

This is a wonderful ink colour that flows very well. I love it and had no issue with opening the bottle as some people supposedly have. You won't be disappointed.

I recently bought a fountain pen converter to use with ink opposed to plastic refill cartridges. I was surprised that this was not a messy task and i did not get ink everywhere, (which was my concern). The ink is perfect consistency, not to thick to gunge up the nib, nor too runny so that it leaks. Perfect purchase, in my opinion, and kinder to the planet too, not using disposable plastic cartridges,
