I purchased this one because it looked the cleanest with the least clutter. Here's 13" macbook to give you an idea of it's size. There are some unfinished seams, but aren't sharp.I was able to string the bow with out help, but it does take work. The only instructions are for the bow assembly, but it's easy to figure out the stock release and safety. The self cocking feature is great and can replace the upper arm strengthening device you have.I bought the three piece package deal.As for the shipping, UPS was a total negative. It was supposed to have arrived on the 23rd, it arrived around 16:30 today, 26th.Well worth the money.

This is an amazing bow and works great. It does take two people to put the bow string on. They also make a bow press to put the string on.

I bought the crossbow to shoot about the 5 or 6 time I shoot it the locking device broke and now it will not stay locked so it dangers to shoot. It looks cheap. It shot good for the first times I shot it but now don't know about shooting it. Thank you

Pretty cool! I am a small female and was able to assemble it with my (female) friend's help. When it came to the the bow string, (which I know is the hardest to get on) I found using the stairs to add my body weight and having my friend get the string on and works best. Trust me, it did take us a while to figure out how to get the Damn bow string on, but once we'd heard of using the stairs (as a method) it was so much easier! It shoots well, but careful, as after taking the safety off the trigger is SUPER touchy! I've had it shoot off randomly because I had my finger (barely) on the trigger when taking the safety off. Big mistake!! (Luckily I had no bolt/ arrow in it). Practice with the crossbow without using any arrows at first to get a feel of the draw weight, releasing the safety off/on, and of course pulling trigger. Don't get ignorant and and go straight to shooting off bolts or arrows. Also, I wanted to mention that at least for me, it is a little difficult to draw back, but I am able to manage. One other thing, it is pretty light (I'd estimate 5-10 lbs). When the crossbow is titled "80 lbs", that's not the actual weight of it, that just means it has 80 lbs draw weight. All in all this is a fun little crossbow. It could be a bit better quality, but I love it!
