Push it in the cable first. The large end goes onto shaft first. It's hard to snap it on so I greased the shaft/ball

Was an easy install, I used some channel lock pliers to gently press the bushing onto the metal post. Snaps on solid though.

didn't last very long. Maybe the material is too soft to hold up to much heat. Lasted me about 6 months.

The gear shift bushing was easy to install and fit perfectly. Several hundred miles after installation and still working well.

Used it for 2005 6cyl. jeep wrangler. It was a good replacement for the original shifter bushing.

Fit perfectly. Seems high quality. Easier to buy this from Amazon and delivered to my door than go to dealer to get the oart.
