wonderful tool, however one of the pins used for scribing was shorter than the other, i disassembled it , then mounted it on a starrett bench block and with a starrett pin punch tapped it in a little farther, till even, it is now perfect, sometimes these pins loosen with use even on the best gauges then coat pin with very small amount of epoxy, and forget it, that sucker isnt going anywhere
