The top design of the ball is not easy to damage other parts, and it is durable.
This 2 jaw puller has a hidden feature - the little protrusions at each end of the bar are actually spring-loaded detents so the jaws won't slip off the ends of the bar until you're ready to remove them. This feature makes the cavity in the jaws just the right size so they won't cant one way or the other too much. put a drop of motor oil on each button and pressed down several times so they are lubricated. Before using lubricated the entire length of the screw as well as the bottom end with bearing grease and ran the screw back and forth a couple times to make sure the threads were as lubricated as possible. Worked great!

As you can see in the pictures, the MANNIFEN 2-Jaw Gear Puller is very simple. It easily changes from an inside puller to an outside puller. Most pullers have a more complex way of changing the arms to do this, but all you need to do with this one is to push in the button at the end of the rail on each side and rotate the arms

Most likely will work on other engines. Had to purchase in a pinch and this worked perfectly.

Good find! Arrived as scheduled. Packaging was very nice. Item worked well but the tip of the extraction bolt dug into the steering column shaft. The tool flexed some while tightening. This is still a good for the price

It worked well under the abuse of pulling a GM Pitman arm. It was severely stuck and handled cranking and beating on it. It wouldn't have come off without it. It performs as advertised. It functions exactly as promised, delivering the expected results without any issues.

I broke the jaws tip on it, I've used to pull all the bearings on my transfer case and now I started on the transmission and it sadly broke off. Seems like great quality and it work just fine this whole time. Not sure like I said if it was me or the puller.
