Probably the smartest dog we have ever had came from a large animal shelter. We had just bought our first house and I immediately went to the shelter to find a couple of GS Dogs. I grew up with GSDs and wanted to continue that in our family. I had a long list of what we wanted in a dog and did not see what we were looking for. I returned to the shelter, (and several other shelters), several times. This one male ‘GSD’, that had been there during each of my visits, finally convinced me to take him home. Really. The dog looked like a wolf and that immediately became his name.The first test was to ensure Wolf was appropriate with the kids. This dog and our 18-month-old took one look at each other and bonded for life. ‘B’ would often claim that he and Wolf were twin, (his father is a twin), and that he was half wolf and Wolf was have boy. We had Wolf for approximately 12 years. We did have other dogs that had bonds with different kids but the bond B had with Wolf was extreme. Of course the kids are all grown now, but we all, (especially B), love all things wolf so I had to order this.The crystal ball is very clear and clean. You can see the wolf carving from different angles with or without the light. This is great because I do not care for it on the stand that comes with it. As you can see from my pictures as well as the ones online, that the stand reflects a yellow circle when the light in the stand is on. It really detracts from the carving and is why it is four stars. I will look for a different stand and perhaps put a candle behind it.If you don’t mind the yellow circle cause by the stand and you don’t want to plug it into your computer all day, use a small power bank and you can put it anywhere you choose.

This is the third figurine ball that I’ve gotten and I’m relieved that the ball is perfect. My experience hasn’t always been that good, so I’m happy to say that these folks actually make a quality product that isn’t filled with scratches. Saturn is recognizable, and I like the detail of the moons as well.This is also the first of these balls that I’ve gotten that has an on off switch, which is really nice to have. It makes for a good nightlight.

this is very small and great for a small shelf or desk. wish it would change colors but this is super bright so probably don't want it in your bedroom

It’s definitely not as big as I thought it would be, which is perfect for my little ones. It’s very beautiful, not too bright my kids love it. It’s fair priced & made a great gift for my oldest, keep in mind you get what you pay for! I’d definitely purchase again though.
