Your cart is empty.This Hyperco helper spring has a 2.50 inch inner diameter and a 4 inch free length. It is made from high-quality steel. These Hyperco helper springs are soft springs are used on suspensions which can travel farther than the chassis spring. When the suspension droops, these springs expand and take up the slack between the chassis spring and the spring perch. This keeps the chassis springs centered on the perch and prevents the ride height from suddenly changing. These short coils have very low spring rates and are coil bound when the suspension is loaded. They will not affect the rate of your chassis springs. It is approximately 1/4 inches long when compressed.

I had lowered and stiffened my cars suspension to a point where at full droop the springs were several inches shorter than the span between spring perches. I used the HyperCo helper spring along with an Eibach spring coupler to support my coil over suspension through it's full range of motion.The Helper springs were of a high quality with a durable powder coat and consistent spring rates on all 4 I installed.

Not in description but rated at 25 pounds. You would need to purchase spring divider separately to attach to your main spring.

Serves its purpose well. I bought these to complete my front coilover assemblies so that the main spring would not have free play whenever my car was lifted or if the wheel dropped beyond the main spring's extension. All is good! Don't forget to get a spring spacer if you're adding these!
