I love this 3M sandpaper. The Cubitron sandpaper is very long lasting and 3M states it can be rinsed out. I haven’t done that but noticed that it allows for excellent dust extraction and it lasts so much longer than a non-screen type sandpaper disk. My crew thinks they last longer than the major brand of screen sand paper we have used for years. I don’t use anything else in the shop now

I have used Cubitron on my random orbitals (round disks) for some time and it is great sandpaper. Wanted it for my 80 X 133 rectangular sander and this works fine. The tear off sections are correct so two sections of 80 mm wide will fit a 133 mm pad. You know, like a Festool RSTC. Just use a protection pad for better adherence. Good stuff !

We use this with the RTS sander. Lasts slightly longer and is slightly cheaper than festool paper. More holes in this than festool paper (lots more) for better dust extraction.

Use for straight vibrating sanding. Effective dust pick-up and far outlasts normal paper backed media. Stronger connection to sander clamping system than paper: no tearing.

Best sand paper I've ever used. Does not gouge and it seems to work faster and produce a better result.

I gave this three stars and let me tell you why. I bought this as an alternative to rolls of abranet. I'm a woodturner and the flexibility of a sanding mesh just seems to be at using paper hands down. Cutting it off a roll to my desired size is just an added bonus.3m makes great products so I thought I'd give this a shot. Flexible, check. Roll, check. Unfortunately that's where it ended for me. I don't think this product is made to be bent or folded. Doing so caused the abrasive to flake off the backing. I'm sure this stuff would work great on a sander. I'm keeping it just for that purpose. But to use it as an alternative to using paper or abranet on a lathe? Ummm no. My experience was far less than stellar. I don't want to bash this product since it's not advertised to be used for my application. But I did want to give a heads up to my fellow Woodturners out there, this may not be what you're looking for.

Pros:- CUT!! I got the 180-grit roll, and I'm very impressed with how fast and how much it cuts. I had this on my 3M clean-sanding blocks, and I hardly made dust. In some areas, I felt like I was removing as much material as with 80-grit without leaving 80-grit gouges.- Great dust extraction- Pre-scored for your convenience.- Hook and loop works OK.Cons:- Folds onto itself and can ruin your primer/gouge your surface. Make sure you check your paper.- Super weird-sized roll.

Truly cheap sandpaper isn’t cheap because you have to use a lot more and spend more time sanding. Cubitron II is THE BEST sandpaper on the market. It’s extremely sharp. Even at high grits, you can feel the paper grabbing your skin. It sands wood and steel indifferently. Incredible stuff

Used to sand some drywall mud to smooth it for painting. Removes a good amount without gouging. Prepares surface nicely when used with vacuum.

These are very small and expensive but do work well. Unfortunately the size was really small and had to return it.
