I love this ice pick. It is hard to find a good sturdy ice pick these days, this is perfect. It is heavy enough to add force to break up the ice easily. Just like a nice weighted hammer drives a nail in better.I also like to freeze 16 Oz glass bottles of Coke made with sugar overnight and start my day with a frozen ice treat and it works well reaching more than halfway into the bottle, by that time a few shakes brings the rest into reach. I have one pop a day and this is it. I don't drink coffee so this is my morning wake up. Most ice picks aren't long enough to reach more than a couple of inches in.I have included a photo of the product next to a regular ice pick you find in stores.

Happy as heck I bought this instead of one of the cheaper alternatives. Long sturdy blade. Comfortable handle. Help me un-block my ice maker in about 15 seconds! Highly recommended.

I am perfectly happy with this ice pick. I bought it for the purpose of leaving it inside an ice container in my freezer as we do not have an icemaker on my fridge. Store but ice cubes or ice I make from my countertop icemaker seem always become frozen together. Because the handle is rubber/plastic, whatever it’s made out of, I feel good about having it sit in potential moisture and not damaging wood or other material of which some handles are made. The pick is heavy so quite effective, the tip on mine is sharp. I appreciate the protective sheath (solid and secure), so that if my kids happen to handle it or the older when use it it is more safe. I highly recommend.

After struggling for a few years with a home made ice pick making our ice from quart containers, decided to buy this pick. Instead of deep hard jabs to bust up the ice chunks, this beauty was cracking away with very minimal thrusts. Unlike others, fortunately, my pick came with a very sharp pointed tip. Can not say anything bad about it because this thing works so well!

Ike jime is a traditional Japanese slaughter technique that involves instantaneously euthanizing a fish by inserting a spike into its brain cavity. This way, the fish doesn't suffer a suffocating death. This spike is perfect for that, and doesn't rust. I would think it would be great for ice, though. It is super sturdy.

Picador de gelo, com bom acabamento, o grip de borracha é bom e a ponta de aço inox é bem resistente. Quebra facilmente os blocos de gelo.

So happy with this ice pick - it's pretty much perfect 👌It comes sharp, it's super sturdy & has a good weight to it. Love the handle - the grip is excellent and there's a big lanyard hole. Tip protector is okay; I made my own sheath to protect the rest of the steel from other tools damaging it.It's a big gaudy blue tool that gets the job done so well it's fun to use, & feels bombproof. Function > fashion - would recommend! ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

Ce pic à glace est pratiquement incapable de.... casser de la glace pour faire des glaçons. Malgré l'impression solide qu'il donne en image ou même dans la main, un.simple.couteau fait mieux que lui. Le métal se plie tordant la pointe. Et sans pointe, pas d'efficacité. A ne pas acheter.
