Received the case today. order was on time, but delivered in a high humidity environment. That was a concern from reading other customer feedback. The case was wrapped in plastic, and my biggest fear was the TERRIBLE smell THAT MANY REVIEWS WARNED ABOUT.. After checking and getting others to confirm it, THERE WAS NO ODOR other than that of a pleasant high quality leather. My animal was obviously picky about cleanliness prior to taking on its new job of carrying my laptop. AND there were no predatory animals scratching at my front door to go in for the kill.....no vultures circled searching for a dead animal. I moved on to my next concern: Space. This does fit my large laptop AND room to spare to fit the side monitor I just purchased. This is just right! Concern number 3, stitching and craftmanship for the price. Everything was completed, stitched securely,, and opened and closed without a problem, zippers inside and out, total of three, were easy to use; pockets expanded as expected and were a bit stiff, but with any good leather bag, give it some time to break in like your favorite baseball glove. The hardware looked good, and added to the vintage look.Doing my best to give an honest review, I am concerned about the hardware on the strap connection "D" Ring. It seems sturdy enough but I am doubling up with a brass ring just in case. The buckles are easier to use. I can only use one hand, and had no problem opening o buckle or closing it. Just takes a bit more time. I'll cover the results in a follow-up review. The pictures showing a full bag are not misleading, it should hold all of it as shown without straining. There are small pockets on the sides, that are allegedly for small umbrellas, well I doubt that will work small hand sanitizer bottles, maybe or a great place to keep spare masks

This briefcase is genuine leather. It is well made and is nice looking. I am very pleased with this product. It has many pockets. I would rate this briefcase 5 stars!

Where to begin. This is the most durable bag I've ever had and it has so much room/organization.I can easily fit 3 notebooks (5 subject), and two water bottles in the large middle pocket, with enough room in the other pockets for anything else I could hope to store.In addition to the main large pocket there is a pocket behind that for a laptop, with 2 smaller pockets sewn on to the front of it (that wasn't even mentioned in the product description).In front of the largest pocket there is a slightly smaller pocket with enough room for a small umbrella and a bit extra. It has 4 little slots for pens (a bit too wide for one pen but can easily hold 2 pens) and a zipper with yet another compartment for storage.On the front of the bag there are 2 nice sized pockets of the same size. Each has about enough room to fit a medium sized stapler and a recorder.Also on the front of the bag is yet another zippered compartment.On the sides of the bag there are some small, taller pockets great for lesser items you might not want to clutter the larger compartments with like a phone charger or pencil sharpeners.On the back of the bag is yet another zippered compartment perfect for storing packs of scantrons.Ultimately it has immense organization potential with so many pockets and compartments everywhere, it has so much room (the main reason I got the bag to begin with), and is super durable. The strap is extremely durable; the clamps on it in particular are the best. After almost 2 months of having the bag it shows no signs of wear and I carry a lot of stuff in this bag. And other bags of this quality were all at least $230, and typically much smaller. Plus, it really does look quite nice- I've gotten several compliments on it. For me the leather smell faded after about 2 days and went away completely within a week. I don't know if this is goat leather or cow hide but I don't really care or see why it would matter. It's a high quality bag for moderate quality price; the perfect gift for a grad student that has too much to carry and needs something that will do that and last.

This bag arrived flattened and will need to be stuffed with towels in the inside and paper towels in the smaller side and front pockets for a few days to give the shape back to the leather.Top handle should have been double stitched like the front strap instead of single stitched. It does have brass rivets, but the stitching will tear out of too much stress is placed on handle.All the edges should have been burnished instead of leaving them raw.As some have noted, there is a strong smell when it arrived, which I attributed to the leather tanning process until I actually opened the bag.The smell is attributed to the glue they used for the canvas lining.Being a leather worker myself, the canvas lining is unnecessary in my opinion. A thin leather could have been used, or better yet, leave it raw to smooth out naturally under constant use.The hardware seems to be sturdy so far and the color of the bag is a nice leather brown.The zippers should have been brass to match hardware and not the plastic used as the durability might be an issue with extended use as the plastic zippers will wear out fast.Overall, a nice looking bag that needs some tweaks to be a great bag. For the price it is acceptable, just keep the bag open for a while to let the smell dissipate and don't go loading this bag down with really heavy items. For an iPad or light laptop with a few other papers or small books it will hold up fine.

I am so happy with this messenger bag. I researched several before deciding on this one. Let me break it down for you:1. The bag is huge! There are so many pockets and compartments, I'm not even sure I'll use them all. There are 2 zipper compartments on the outside of the bag (one at the front under the flap, and another at the back.) There are also many pockets inside and out - pockets on the front and sides - more small pockets inside, and three large inner compartments to hold my mobile phone, tablet, air pods, wallet, journal, etc.2. The leather material is beautiful, thick, and sturdy. The colour is beautiful and warm, and makes the bag look vintage instead of brand new.3. The large cross-body strap is also made from thick, sturdy leather. Once I adjusted it to the length I wanted, I slid the comfortable band over the buckle area to prevent it from digging into my shoulder.4. The inner lining is a strong canvas material. This should hold up well under regular use.5. The stitching throughout the bag is beautifully done.I read many reviews from people complaining about a smell. Hello! It's genuine leather, of course it's going to smell. That smell dissipated quickly, as is normal with a genuine leather product such as this.Another thing some reviewers complained about is the stiffness of the leather. This is also normal. Leather is stiff when you first get it. Through normal use, it softens and becomes supple. I'm guessing that the reviewers who complained about the smell and feel of the leather aren't used to genuine leather products.Reviewers also complained about an oily substance and plastic wrap. Both of these are found on the buckles and metal rings. This is also normal. Oil is used to condition the leather; it's natural for there to be a residue on the overall bag. Within minutes of using the bag, the oil, like the smell, dissipated. After continued use, it shouldn't take long for the smell and oil to completely disappear.As for the the plastic wrap - also normal. This is to protect the metal parts on the straps and pockets. The makers add it to protect the metal parts until the product reaches the consumer. With very little effort, the plastic easily came off.Overall, this is a beautiful, leather crafted, messenger bag. It holds my 15-inch laptop easily, as well as my full-size iPad, phone, thick writing journal, and more. With all the additional pockets and compartments inside and out, I know this bag will more than meet my needs.

Es un portafolio amplio, con un diseño muy funcional, todos sus broches funcionan muy bien, solo que la piel se siente áspera o seca, poco flexible. De ahí en fuera, todo muy bien.

La mochila es todo lo que dice tiene un estilo vintage muy padre es de piel 100 % y las costuras son buenas se nota que es un producto de buena calidad y los detalles son geniales. Lo que no me gustó es que en español dice 18 pulgadas y en realidad es de 16 por lo cual uno se confía y no es la medida que esperaba pero aún así vale mucho la pena no quise regresar el artículo si cabe una laptop de buen tamaño

Su relación calidad precio es muy buena, es muy espacioso y tiene bastantes bolsas para guardar objetos pequeños , su apariencia es atractiva , evoca las cosas antiguas. probablemente por el clima de la Ciudad de Mexico y el tratamiento que le dieron a la piel al principio se formaba una capa de cera , pero esta se retira facilmente, si buscas algo funcional pero que también tenga una apariencia inusual esta puede ser una gran opción
