Best thing I got!. This may be weird but I got this not for my kitchen. I own a small business where I make sublimation tumblers. Said tumblers require butcher paper to prevent ink bleeding. This thing is awesome because it makes grabbing the paper hassle free! It’s durable, it’s easy to use, can be mounted to a wall if needed and a great value! My only con is, it is quite bulky. So if you don’t have the extra space it’s not completely necessary. To me the bulkiness it worth dealing with because of the convenience it offers me. Overall I recommend!

I purchased this to use in my quilt shop to hold a 75yd roll of fusible backing. My only regret is that I didn't purchased one with a straight edge instead of a serrated edge, because the sticky backing on the fusible didn't tear well. It's sturdy and doesn't move around on the counter.

I purchased this dispenser specifically to hang, hold and cut my 18 inch, 500 foot heavy duty aluminum foil, and it works great. The picture shows a partially used roll, which was very helpful figuring out how to hang the dispenser. In order for it to be securely seated, when installing make sure that the Cuisinart logo is on top and the writing is oriented upside down.Heads up that I also tried to use it for my 18 inch roll of plastic wrap, and that didn’t work, which was not surprising. It DID dispense my butcher paper beautifully, and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it for large rolls of wax paper or freezer paper.I’m very satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it.

I’m using this with roll of white butcher paper from Sam’s. It was a little difficult to get the roll installed by myself because it is pretty heavy, but doable. With a little help it would be much easier. It works well, and I am happy with it. The cut edge is a bit ragged which is not important for my use but just fyi if it’s important to you. Don’t think I would hang it up because of the weight of the paper roll I’m using. It’s sitting on a small table and it doesn’t move when I’m tearing the paper off. It’s just fine for me and my occasional use, but probably would get something a little sturdier for constant use

I bought this dispenser after my usual butcher paper was no longer stocked. So I ordered 1050 ft of butcher paper from a wholesaler, and I needed a dispenser for it. The Cuisinart Butcher Paper Dispenser took the entire 1050 ft roll of butcher paper. I have not tried mounting it to the wall, which is possible, but because of the weight from the large roll attached to it, I decided against it.Overall it was a good purchase!

Unfortunately, this paper cutter did not work for me. The paper would constantly cut for a few inches and then crumple along the rest instead of cutting through. It would also continue to pull out more paper causing the sheets to "ripped" on a diagonal instead of cut straight across at the very least. I was using this with a regular role of butcher paper.
