I purchased this grill almost 5 years ago. I had the exact same model previously and it lasted for 10 years without replacing ANY parts. I’m not sure why there are some negative reviews, maybe because grease was allowed to collect over time and it created a grease fire. I had to replace my 10 year old grill ( same model) after a month long trip to Montana and Wyoming, where we grilled game meat nearly every night. I failed to clean the grease buildup below the grill grate. Dopey me. It had a good size grease fire I had to extinguish. Completely my fault.So I purchased a new one. Almost five years now, I degrease it fairly regularly , and keep it pretty clean now.My only “complaint “? Because I camp in windy conditions, the flame can be blown out. I relocate the grill to a more sheltered spot but always watch it. I love this little grill.It’s a little pricey but it sure does the job.

I was a bit nervous to purchase this grill due to another review claiming that many other reviews were fake and made a good case for it. Honestly, I don’t doubt that many in here are just that. As a result of all this, I felt compelled to write my review of the unit. Some peoples’ expectations are just not reasonable. Buy this grill for what it is - a compact grill that you can bring with you, pretty darn inexpensive, and isn’t meant to compete with a full sized grill. For several years we owned a different portable grill and it finally died. When this one arrived I was pleasantly surprised especially considering some of the other complaints about it.The grill arrived fully assembled and ready for use. I anticipated needing to become frustrated with misc screws and poor directions, but that wasn’t the case. The legs are nice and sturdy, and easily folds. On the back of the grill there’s a protruding piece of plastic, which is greatly appreciated! When the grill is hot, you can use the front handle in addition to holding that cool-to-touch plastic piece and move the grill. With my old grill I needed to wait until it was cooled off. Temp gauges are nice on the front. The grease tray on the bottom looks well built. It has one hole in it for grease to enter (it’s covered otherwise). If the grease isnt’ hot, not sure how easy it’ll be to get out. We’ll see.The cooking surface is just fine. Again, keep in mind the price point we’re talking here. No, it’s not cast iron. Or some other more expensive material. Want something better? Get the Webber and pay more. To me it’s really that simple. Match expectations with how much you’re willing to pay. Based on this, I've rated it 5 starts and that is NOT meant to say some of the more expensive grills are not infact better.I’m quite happy with the purchase and would recommend it to others. Now time for some burgers and beer!

It cooks pretty evenly. I like that it’s portable and foldable. I used it for camping for the first time this weekend and I did a great job. I just wish the grill wasn’t as sticky. I wish they made better quality grill grates for these small grills but this one is pretty good overall.

Great little grill. Perfect for tailgating or an outdoor gathering. Easy to transport. Worked like a charm with a small propane tank. We cooked quite a bit of food, never ran out of fuel. Amazing amount of surface grilling space for such a little grill. Easy to clean.

I received it in excellent condition and love the red. Not too heavy for me and fits perfectly in the case i got for it from Amazon. Also fits in my deck box so i can keep it outside. The first time I used it I brought it to the park and had a picnic with some friends. I did as directed and let the fire be lit for 15 minutes before I cooked the burgers. Warning to users: always spray it with some kind of nonstick spray because the hamburgers stuck on the grill. The next time I used it was at home and remembered to spray it and my steak came out perfect and didn’t stick. Cooks quickly on low setting so don’t walk away unless you want it well done. The cleaning up was semi- easy. The grill fits in the sink so i was able to soak it and it washed up good. Cleaning the inside was not as easy due to the fire element and having to clean underneath it. But, in the end, it’s a Great little BBQ! Highly recommend.

We had grown tired of trying to use the big grills at our mountain condo. Yess, they’re free, but it seemed like we were out there forever waiting for food to cook. We ordered this little Cuisinart grill to use on our deck. I was prepared to sacrifice two filet mignons if it didn’t work…..instead, they were cooked perfectly with a little sea salt (herbs de Provence), some cracked pepper and a little mesquite seasoning. I cooked them four minutes on each side, then tented under foil on a plate for 5 minutes. They were perfect for us at medium rare to medium. Honestly, I am never this good on the big grill. I believe this grill is easy to control. Even with the lid closed, I could smell the delicious steak cooking. My husband was so skeptical about this grill, but he was impressed that his steak could not have been more perfect! There are only two of us, but we could have easily cooked for 4-6. The price is good and you can use the little Coleman propane bottles (which I did) or buy the connector and use a larger propane tank (which I bought but didn’t use yet). We had a small table to put the grill on while keeping the tongs underneath. I am very happy with this purchase.

I've had this grille for about 3 weeks and love it. Great for two retired people. I don't have to carry the heavy 20lb gas tanks as this grille uses the small 1 lb gas canisters. The base opens easy and stays that way. The lighter works great, starts on first "click" ever time. I read the complaints before buying and couldn't believe some. This Grille is not cheap unless one drops it. One person set the foot piece on the legs on fire by not opening the legs down. The only plastic parts were the bottom feet on the legs and the handle is made of some kind of hard plastic material and does not penetrate the inside. It stays cool all the time I cook with the lid shut. The grate has a ceramic coating and is easy to clean.

Works out of the box. No issues. It does not burn the food like others do. The overall quality is very good. Feet are plastic, but have no issues as others described. Relatively easy to transport in the car or to camping. Happy with the purchase. I could have bought a Coleman portable BBQ for a bit more money, but that one is heavy and bigger. For the size and quality, this cannot be beaten.

We got this because we wanted a no hassle SMALL portable bbq. This one was a bit more pricy but unlike the cheaper ones this is not flimsy. It’s a higher quality made. The legs are sturdy and the lock makes it easy to carry. It’s perfect for 2-4 people. Fits great In the boot and the gas tank stays sturdy when screwed in.We are very happy with this as we tried 2-3 cheaper/flimsy ones in the past and they all failed. Lids wouldn’t fit properly….If you want something very portable, small and practical this is the oneI put some items in Teh pix next/inside the grill for scale reference

Avoid this. Mine fell apart after only using a handful of times. Aside from the rust on the outside and the handle being plastic on a hot surface , the inside is also super prone to rust and the legs are really really cheap.Full of design defects and cheaping out, this item is crap and not worth 50 bucks

I have a small balcony that can only fit a small table. This was the only grill I found that wasn't too big.It fits perfectly on top of my table and has enough space for 2 or 3 people's food.It heats up really fast and it's surprisingly easy to clean given that its small size lets you put it inside the sink.
