It's a replacement for same model BUT this one has a sleeker, easy to hold tapered handle with no/slip coating that makes it even easier than before. It's also very quiet. Great charging base with lights to show it's charging or done. Good product.In Addition: the seller accidentally sent me the wrong product, but when notified they immediately took steps to correct it, courteously and generously, much to my satisfaction. Couldn't have asked for better on their part. That is great customer service and a great product.

Worked great for maybe 5 bottles. Then, even when fully-charged, the opener would go into the cork and then just stopped.

We are now on our third Cuisinart wine opener. When functioning they are great and easy to use. However, even with only moderate use they don't last for their 18 month warranty period. Given the price, in our opinion, its not worth pursuing the warranty so we simply buy replacements. The electronics continue to function, in our opinion it is the screw that fails.

We had a smaller rechargeable wine opener that looked great and lasted years, but it couldn’t handle some old or artificial corks. This one looks more muscular and it is. It yanks out all corks very fast.
