NOTICE!!:Any 8oz butane gas can with a NOTCHED COLLAR to butane cartridge can ensure it aligns properly with culinary torch.Check they expecially describled for cooking torches&camping stoves.These cans are available at any hardware store or on Amazon.

WARNING
1.Please make sure that the gas tank is installed correctly.
2.If you find that the torch gun has begun to leak gas, please stop using
3.It is forbidden to open fire toward human face or the human body
4.Please use the blow torch for cooking in a safe place, and do not approach flammable objects or fire sources during use, otherwise it may cause a fire.

The 5 stars is based on the fact that this product works exactly as I expected it to. It fires up a nice flame every time without issue and has worked for me every time I've tried to use it.I purchased it thinking I'd be able to use it to sear meat, for that it has been a failure but that is due to my lack of research.There are purpose built products for searing meat that should be used instead. When using this to sear you get an off taste and small burnt spots no matter how quickly you move it over the meat.For the price this thing is fantastic. I now use it to start fires and for heating shrink tubing... both of which it excels at.Bottom line: If you're getting it to sear meat with... don't.

At this time I'm really impressed with this torch. Press and twist torch head onto notched can of butane. Turn back knob to ON position, squeeze trigger and release, adjust flame to desired strength, use with caution, turn back adjustment knob to off position when task is complete. Smile and admire your work. CONGRATS, you're now addicted, go have fun but be safe.

Great for lighting fireworks on 4th of July. The trigger can be a fail point on these. However, it worked and I haven't had an issue in the couple months and few times ive used it.

28NOV24Unbelievable! It's leaking at the canister already, just one day later. I'm sending it back. This thing is more dangerous than I thought.27NOV24If you purchase one of these PLEASE make sure there's no butane leak where the canister attaches. Upon assembly, I could actually hear the leaking butane! This is a very hazardous condition. It's a fire hazard, a burn hazard, as well as an explosion hazard. Disconnect the canister immediately if there is a leak. You can use kids Soap Bubbles to detect a leak, especially for a small leak.I'm an engineer and I found the problem to be a very poor fit for the two O-rings that seal the canister. Part of the problem was poorly made parts. I had to remove metal flashing (excessive metal left behind in the production process) as well as use a silicone vacuum grease to allow the O-rings to reliably seal. After doing this the seal works OK. DUE TO THE POOR CONSTRUCTION, I DO NOT INTEND TO LEAVE THE TORCH ATTACHED TO THE CANISTER, EVER.

For the price I paid ($10), it's a solid product. The flame control is pretty good and can go from small to a huge, hot flame. At max level, this thing burns hotter than the fire at Mount Doom...holy mother of god. It boiled 1/2 a cup of water in about a minute. I tested this out.This was on my list to buy for an eternity but never bought it; I didn't think it was that useful. After trying it, wish I had bought it sooner. I can probably cook/sear a steak in a minute or two. Can't wait to try this outOverall, good product, seems good quality so far, at the right price. Def. recommended ✌ï¸

Has a large max fuel rate volume. As can be see in the picture. Large flame but also mean Fast Fuel usage. Has a control on the tube to feather the flame but I wouldn’t use it as it heats up the metal tube body of very quickly. Quality is acceptable but probably best not to drop.

It works alright and is easy to light however as you move it around the flame will jump up about the same as adjusting the valve a good 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn and then die back down. You can only get a steady flame by placing it down on the counter and keeping it completely stationary and move that for which you wish to torch through the flame. Not how I have ever used a torch before.
