The Culligan HF-360A whole house inline water filter housing extends life of washing machines, water heaters and other household appliances. The Valve-in-Head (VIH) patented technology allows for easy water filter cartridge replacement. Valve-in-Head involves a simple half-turn of the shut-off valve in the cap to shut off the water supply when changing a water filter. Quick and easy installation. Clear housing construction. Includes a 3/4 inch FIP outlet and inlet, fittings not included. A filter housing wrench is included and the housing comes with a 5 year warranty along with a P5 Poly Spun Sediment Filter.

Make sure you purchase the right size filter. If filter is not capable you may have a hard time in making proper tightness on o ring.

I can't find the amazon link to buy the same filters it comes with new? Some answers please. All the links send me to the wrong filters.Over good, but where the pex lines enter, be prepared to put plumbers putty, tape was not sufficient to prevent leaking.

I have been meaning to install one of these for years. After a bout of dirty water coming from the faucet, due to hydrant flushing, we decided it was time. For us, it was an easy install. We added it to the main line right after the shutoff in the garage. We needed a short piece of PEX and a few fittings. It helps to know someone with a PEX crimper. Otherwise, Sharkbites will do the job.

UPDATE 9/13/15: Still good as ever after bimonthly filter changes... 2 years and satisfied.I'm using this as a whole house sediment filter and it seems to be doing a great job. I had a little backwash filter before, well I've had two of those, and they don't last very long... this was about the same price, except of course I have to change the filter... no backwashing on a paper filter. My water is straight from a clean and clear river, so I just need sediment removed and it's used for everything except the drinking water, which then goes through a reverse osmosis system. I put the replacement filters on subscription. I did not give this a "perfect" rating simply because it's still new, we'll see how it holds up through time.This unit comes with a hefty filter wrench for changing filters, but as mentioned by others, the support bracket must be ordered separately. Since my unit is located in the pump house, it has 1" schedule 40 pipes in and out, so it seems sturdy enough. I'm happy with the installation and unit. Had no leaking at all.Because I had the backwash filters before, which only caught the big stuff, I have a second, smaller filter located at the water heater and another at the washing machine, since this is river water and we get cypress needles in the fall, but those stay clean with this filter in front of them... now that's just a backup to prevent other problems if this filter breaks. I bought the level 1 sed filter for use in this housing, but also bought a level 4 filter in case I decide to filter more... but that was double the price so I hope it's not needed. I'll save it for emergencies.Since I have all pvc in the pump system, installation was very simple for me, I just installed a plastic valve at the input and output so I can close it when checking/replacing the filter (I have a pressure tank located after the filter, as well as check valves).

Better than original 1 o-ring design. Double sealing with 2 o-rings for less chance of leaks.

My old filter was leaking from the pressure button and soaked everything before I realized it. This replacement was very easy to install, because it is almost identical to my old filter. Made well,perfect size and works exactly as it should.

Nice filter but it did not come with a mounting bracket!!! You would assume that a filter of this size and weight would automatically come with a mounting bracket. No they have to make an extra 12 bucks. Did not find this out until I received the filter and opened the box and NO mounting bracket!! As much stuff as I order from Amazon and most items comes complete with whatever is necessary to make it work.

Easy to install. Remember to install ball valves at the inlet and outlet to have an effortless filter changing process. Purchase high quality filters.DISCLAIMER: Get a licensed plumber to install it to insure proper installation.

Es un exclente portafiltro lo recomiendo, cumple muy bien con su funcion y es facilmde instalar, el unico pero quenle.encuentro es que no incluya la base para fijarlos y no hay en existencia. Pero cumple.connsu funcion y no le afecta solo haybque tener ingenio.

This filter does not come with a mounting bracket unfortunately so will have to do some fabrication. Other than that it seems like a decent whole house water filtration unit.I like the clear bottom so you can see the filter ðŸ‘ðŸ»
