Your cart is empty.This is an exhaust resonator for Cummins Onan KY RV Generators. It softens exhaust noise and reduces sound levels in some installations up to one dB(A). It is constructed of aluminized steel. It mates with standard 1-1/2" O.D. exhaust pipe. Installation requires a 1-1/2 inch (38mm) O.D. pipe clamp (Part # 155-1015, sold separately).

Got the resonate for my B van with the 2800i Onan. Being in camp grounds prior, we can hear the echo across the campsite. I wanted something to tone the noise down. This has done that. Very pleased with the end result. Price was well worth the quieter tone.

I got this for my Onan 2500 LP generator. It helped with the tinny sound of the exhaust, but the genset is just loud. Install was ok, not like others I’ve seen. There’s just slipped on over the pipe and they clamped it on. Seems like my exhaust was almost the same diameter. Had to make relief cuts in my exhaust to slide this on and then clamp it. I may just get a butt clamp, recut the exhaust pipe an inch shorter and install again. It does the job of changing the tone of exhaust, but don’t expect the Onan genset to magically become quiet like a Honda genny.

fit perfectly under the stock muffler. Cut a section out of the sock exhaust pipe and welded it in place., Bought a new hanger and clamps. Works well

Compact muffler. Does quite generator but not as much as I would like. Have to get your own brackets.

The product performed as advertised. It didn’t bring the decibels down considerably but, the higher pitch/tinny sound produced by my Onan propane generator was muted quite a bit. I would say it “took the edge off†with regard to sound dampening.

It helps. The sound is OK, not drastically quieter but it is quieter. The note of the sound changes quite a bit for the better, this gets rid of annoying buzz quality that the stock pipe has. Volume and irritation factor is reasonably improved, especially a short distance from the vehicle. Does this make it quiet? No. But for the price it does improve the situation quite a bit. I had it welded into the pipe by a local muffler shop.
