Got this a while ago and didn't use it much. Tried it recently on a large package and it worked like a charm. Adhesive seems solid and seems to resist going bad over time. Pleased, would buy again!

First time using water activated tape, but this stuff works great. I used a cheap manual dispenser that works decently well, but this tape is very strong. I use this for products that I'm shipping because it's more secure and harder for shipping workers to steal the contents (yes, unfortunately this is more common than I had realized). I'll buy more when I run out.

This is a great paper tape with a bit of reinforcement. It is not pre moistened so you need to get a dispenser that wets and cuts it. I found one on Amazon for around $35. Worth every penny! Once you get used to it you’ll find this tape is easy to work with and seals packages very well. Make sure you press all the edges down and it will quickly bond to the cardboard box. If you are reusing Amazon boxes for shipping a few inches of this tape easily and quickly covers barcodes and previous shipping info. Best of all, you will be decreasing use of plastic which is not biodegradable once it hits the landfill. +++++

I've tested 5-6 gummed adhesive tape, and this is hands-down the best.The only drawback is that the strong adhesive irritates my fingertips.

Me and my wife decided to buy this brand of packing due to the wider size 2.83 vs 2" wide. We used this for shipping a box overseas to Manila to be exact. Currently our shipping company switched to brown double walk boxes from white and recommended to use kraft reinforced brown tape instead of plastic tape for recycling purposes now implemented. This brand of tape works well. After we bought this my wife was asking how to apply it. Normally from past experience in warehouse shipping companies we used tape machines for this type of tape. I priced them this can be expensive for the electric ones. My idea was to use the wet sponge method as done in warehousing when the tape machines became out of order. The glue on the tape is satisfactory and just need to wet the sponge and then wipe across the back of the tape. Then rapidly apply before the gum glue starts to dry. If need be after tape is applied can go over the edges of the tape if they did not adhere well, then press the tape down. I want to say less of this tape was used to seal the top and bottom of a large box versus using plastic tape in the past. Because due to weather change the plastic tape adhesion would come loose on areas of the box then we have to apply more tape. I recommend this tape for shipping brown boxes. AAA+

This has improved the appearance of my packaging. If I can remove the old plasticky stickers and tape from an old box, I can use this to patch over rough looking spots as I tape. You end up with something that just looks like a neat 'brown paper package all tied up in string.' Getting used to your technique for wetting the tape and applying it without edges curling up will take some time, but it is worth it.

I really wish I got this sooner. I ship about 10-15 packages per month. I always wanted to make the jump from plastic tape to paper tape. I stuck through years of the plastic adhesive being weak or coming off. NO MORE!Water activated tape is the way to go! It's stronger than plastic tape. It has almost been a year and I still haven't finished my first roll yet (about 25% left). And I have been very liberal with the amount I was using per package. As long as they don't change the formula, this is what i'll be sticking with.I use it with the Curby Mini Taper dispenser which is expensive for what it is but still totally worth the convenience and time saved.
