Mine came without a shoulder strap. I wish it had, but it's not a big deal. I love the color, many pockets, and quality of it. I have a basic Brother machine and it fits with plenty of space.

This sewing machine tote is way waaaay better than I expected! The price was just too good for quality. Surely it would be tiny or cheap as hell right? HECK NO!For instance, I’d prepared myself for the lining to be thin (easily torn) vinyl BUT IT’S NOT. I mean, it’s not cotton or anything but we’re talking more of a woven (reinforced?) water-proof material.The exterior is a sturdy material that should hold up nicely as well. Granted, the clear plastic pockets may prove to be its weakness, but I appreciate being able to see what I’ve stashed in there.The end pockets fit the foot pedal & power cord nicely, the front pockets are generous, there’s a huge clear zip pocket on the underside of the zippered lid designed to store your thicker items (cases of goodies?) AND…wait for it…my Brother CS5055 fits inside with room for a press pad & some interfacing. I now have virtually everything in one portable tote. Oh happy day!!!

Feels like a fairly solid bad for the price point. Was pleased to see it fit my Janome 1522 even though the machine is a little bigger than the listed dimensions. Only gripe is I wish the bag had a little more padding and structure in the bottom to protect the machine from drops. Over all pleased with my initial impression
