Great hitch and company. Extremely well built and operates flawlessly. That said I did have a problem using on my first trip. Called the company and they immediately sent a replacement. Apparently an issue with some grease tracks. Anyway, the replacement has worked super with absolutely no issues. This is a strong and quiet hitch. Unless you need the room in your bed or want to remove weight from your truck, there is no reason to remove when not using. Absolutely no noise from the unit while using or not. Comes apart into two pieces in minutes which makes it easier to handle. Still some heavy parts, but manageable. Best I've found on the market. Great Amazon price.

Just recently purchased the hitch and have not had the chance to use it much. I think the one thing I appreciate about is the way they have failsafe design features and indicators that help you know that your trailer is properly hitched. I have read online of multiple instances where the trailer is not properly hitched, the person pulls forward and the front of the 5'er falls into the bed causing a lot of damage to the truck. The hitch is also simple to use, but I would say one should always think twice about what they are doing to make sure they are hitching and unhitching the vehicle properly. Good, solid, quality product. No regrets.

I purchased this Hitch and Custom Bed Rail kit for my 2012 Ram 3500 Crew Cab (Long Wheel Base). The Bed rail installation was, "as described" in the excellent instructions, though some of the Bolts were impossible to get a torque wrench on. (no fault of the kit). I just returned from a 5K+ mile trip with my new rig and am more than satisfied with my purchase.The Q20 Hitch is a dream compared to my Reese. It is quiet towing and hitching/unhitching is a real pleasure compared to the Reese. The powder coat finish appears much more durable than the Reese also and should last with reasonable care. I Highly Recommend Curt products (American Made)!!!

High quality unit, arrived on time, good price, great customer service. when it became apparent I would never use it, before it was installed, they took it back. But it's a good unit. I hauled/delivered new trailers to dealers for a living, but after I received this I decided I didn't want to haul 5th wheels, only receiver hitch trailers.

First off I'm no expert on 5th wheel hitches. I installed the custom installation kit into an 2001 F350 dually with this hitch being the one to tow my 5th wheel trailer. After installation into the truck we went on a 1300 mile trip with no issues during the towing.For those that order this hitch...to keep cost down, the box that this ships in is for a one time use only box. The hitch itself is one heavy sombitch so don't be expecting it with a pretty pink bow on top unless you live right next to the CURT manufacturing plant. All of my hardware that came with the kit was inside the box. The box had a few shipping holes in it and one of the side-rails had some shipping rash that was easily cleaned up.

Towed my Fifth Wheel with this over the weekend big difference over my hitch. The old hitch only had forward and backward movement and had the slam lock so, going over railroad tracks and stuff like that would jar my truck around pretty good also when stopping or starting would get a little jerk as the pin had some play in it. With Q20 those problems are gone and hooking up is easier except for one thing the little bar lock device is a pain to get to because of the wide rear fender on my Dually I can't reach it standing on the ground. I came up with a solution I use one of those trigger handles with the small jaws on the end to flip the little lock device.

Arrived at my door in a "reusable box as states on packaging, but there wasn't much left to the box. Totally destroyed. Good thing the hitch is all steel. But the product itseelf-#1.
