This 1/2" hitch pin features a zinc finish and comes with a groove that allows the clip to be inserted at any angle. All CURT 1/2" pins come with a 105-degree bend, making them easier to handle and operate when mounting your ball mount. 1/2" hitch pins will fit any CURT ball mount or hitch-mounted accessory with a 1-1/4" shank.

It worked great for my 1-1/4" extension. It was long enough to receive the retainer clip just fine. I don't know why others said it was not. I was also impressed with the cheap price for such a quality piece of hardware and would not hesitate to buy another one again if the need ever arises.

Serves my purpose, but item is not to spec.Product page photo has square end, diagram shows conical end. Item is square end. Actual length is 3 11/16". Distance from inside to center of groove is 2 3/8" not 2". Diameter is correct at 1/2".Works for me, but specs are specs. So, its 4Stars.
